Estimate first. Verify officially.
DutyVAT is an informational tool, not a customs authority, customs broker, tax adviser, or legal adviser. Its estimates help explain possible import costs but cannot determine what you will legally owe.
Estimates are built from publicly available EU and national sources. Final classification, valuation, duty, tax, fees, and liability are determined by the relevant authorities and service providers.
01Informational estimates only
DutyVAT provides non-binding estimates of customs duty, import tax, and selected national charges using publicly available rules and stored product classifications. The results are not legal or tax advice and are not customs decisions.
03No guarantee of accuracy or completeness
Rules, rates, exchange treatment, classifications, exemptions, and carrier practices can change or depend on facts the calculator does not collect. DutyVAT does not guarantee that any estimate or explanatory page is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular decision.
04Verify before relying on an estimate
Check the linked official sources and confirm the result with the destination customs authority, postal operator, courier, or a qualified adviser before filing a declaration, purchasing goods, setting prices, or making another financial or legal decision.
05Sources and updates
DutyVAT links to primary sources where practical, but a link does not guarantee that the source covers every fact relevant to your parcel. Material changes to this disclaimer will be posted on this page with an updated date.
